The eScholar ECIDS Solution is designed to support the unique data analysis requirements of integrating data across multiple agencies that support early childhood. The solution is designed to support data analysis required by grants such as the PDG B-5 grant. This includes supporting unduplicated counts, program participation, and longitudinal outcome analysis. The eScholar ECIDS solution includes an early childhood data model designed for multi-agency data integration, unique person identifiers for staff and program participants, and reporting. The solution can be implemented as an end-to-end solution or modularly to enhance your state’s current early childhood data system.

New Mexico implemented the eScholar ECIDS solution to integrate data statewide and assign a unique identifier to all early childhood program participants. The solution has integrated data from three different state agencies across eight distinct source systems. This includes childcare, home visiting, and pre-kindergarten programs. With this solution, New Mexico can calculate unduplicated counts and measure outcomes.

Many states partner with eScholar to assign unique IDs to early childhood participants and early childhood workforce. They are also linking early childhood records to the K12 SLDS through eScholar Uniq-ID.
