We are happy to announce that our team recently completed the mapping of the 2019 EDFacts Templates to the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS). Mapping the data elements for the EDFacts files involved reviewing all templates, data elements, and data definitions – it can be pretty labor intensive!
Our CEDS alignment to the EDFacts 2019 is publicly available on the CEDS website, where you can find our complete mapping. From the CEDS website, click on “Explore Map Based Reports” then “K12”. For the Reports Wizard, select the “Not Applicable” option. There you will see our EDFActs alignment, along with our eScholar Complete Data Warehouse alignment maps.
